A few things you should know…
- Our Summer 2025 Internship Program is 10 weeks in total will run from June 2nd - August 8th
- Business hours are 9:00am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday, with a daily half hour unpaid lunch break
- We have one opening per internship position
- Rising Seniors only
- All interns are expected to be within commuting distance from Stamford, CT for the full 10 week program

Overview
We’re on the lookout for highly motivated college students, in good academic standing, who are passionate about our brand and about working toward a career in the retail industry.
Interns will be responsible for assisting in day-to-day operations within their designated department, providing support to other departments as needed, as well as handling administrative tasks throughout the office. In addition to the above responsibilities, all Interns will be assigned a group project to work on throughout the summer and are expected to present their findings to management at the conclusion of the Internship. Interns will be assigned a group of business leaders for direction and guidance through the project. Vineyard vines also provides social and educational experiences for our Interns.
Please note: At this time, all interns will be expected to be in Stamford, CT for the full summer. Candidates who are eligible will be able to apply to a housing scholarship program (more information to come).
Key Responsibilities:
Store Planning and Allocation
- Assist with weekly allocations and store planning reporting and analysis
- Assist with planning & execution of seasonal store events
- Attend weekly meetings to understand business trends
- Participate in new store opening processes
Merchandise Planning
- Analyze sales trends and present findings in Monday Business meeting
- Help to Identify inventory risks and opportunities and work cross functionally to solve
- Support the team in providing categorical seasonal hindsight and work with merchandising on future product positioning and opportunities
- Assist in creating bottoms up SKU plans and buy quantification at a channel level
What you bring:
- Working towards a Bachelor's in Business, Merchandising, Retail Management, or related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- General knowledge of financial measurements (sales, gross margin, weeks of supply, inventory turn, etc.)
- Ability to learn quickly and be flexible
- Strong time management, prioritization and organizational skills
- Passion for building relationships across cross functional teams
