Position Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic part-time educators to teach a variety of extracurricular subjects to students in PreK through 9th grade. This flexible role is ideal for those passionate about inspiring students in a fast-paced, engaging environment.
Available Subjects: We offer diverse classes, including but not limited to:
- Theater and Improv
- STEM based (Coding)
- Entrepenuership
- Dungeons and Dragons (DND)
- Ultimate Frisbee
No subject-matter expertise is required—we provide all curricula and training!
Classes that do require prior education/experience: Chess, Coding, DND, Dance.
Job Details:
- Location: Menlo Park, CA
- Job Type: Part-time, flexible (1-5 hours per week).
- Compensation: $70 per hour.
- Start Date: On-Boarding and Training will be done before classes begin in January.
- Classes Available: Broadcast Journalism; Pokémon: Build and Battle
Responsibilities:
- Teach pre-planned lessons in a fun and interactive way.
- Engage students of varying ages and skill levels.
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and fellow teachers.
- Adhere to all school policies, including COVID safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Passion for teaching and working with children.
- Experience in teaching, tutoring, or similar roles (e.g., camp counselor).
- Creative problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for engaging students.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to commute to campuses.
- First Aid and CPR certifications (preferred).
