Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage your assigned section of the kitchen during service, ensuring consistency and high-quality food preparation.
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes in accordance with the menu and seasonal offerings.
- Collaborate closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs to ensure seamless kitchen operations and to uphold food safety standards.
- Ensure your section is always clean, organized, and stocked with the necessary ingredients.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff, fostering an environment of growth and teamwork.
- Help with menu planning, incorporating fresh, seasonal ingredients and contributing creative ideas.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role in a professional kitchen, ideally within a high-end or country club environment.
- Strong culinary skills, with knowledge of a variety of cooking techniques and presentation.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and manage time effectively during busy service periods.
- Team-oriented, with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Passion for cooking and an eye for detail, ensuring every dish is prepared to perfection.
