Position Title: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Location: Mescalero Service Unit, 318 Abalone Loop, Mescalero, NM 88340
Duration: 6-8 month contract with the possibility of extension to a long-term role, to be discussed during the interview.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide counseling and support to individuals and families facing psychological or social challenges.
Conduct crisis intervention, including assessments and coordinating care for patients in need of psychiatric hospitalization.
Work with patients across all age groups, addressing their unique physical, emotional, and social needs.
Handle follow-up care for patients referred to other facilities.
Maintain high-quality care through ongoing monitoring and participation in multidisciplinary team efforts.
Interview patients to understand their problems, create treatment plans, and refer them to appropriate community resources.
Provide thorough documentation of evaluations, treatment, and case management using electronic health records.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans.
Provide consultation services to Indian Health Service staff and community resources.
Coordinate specialty care and psychiatric hospital placements for patients as needed.
Participate in departmental meetings, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and documentation standards.
Essential Requirements:
Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW).
Ability to maintain credentialing and privileges at the Mescalero Service Unit.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $95.00 - $100.00 per hour
