Overview:
At Vino Grotta, we are dedicated to providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. As a Server Assistant//Busser, you will support our serving staff by ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming environment, allowing our team to focus on delivering oustanding service.
Key Responsibilites:
- Table//Bar Maintenance: Assist in clearing and resetting tables and bar promptly after guests depart, ensuring a clean and inviting atmosphere for new guests.
- Support Service Staff: Help servers with delivering food and beverages, as well as taking and refilling drink orders as needed.
- Guest Interaction: Provide friendly and attentive service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and that they feel welcome throughout their visit.
- Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping, mopping, washing dishes and glasses and organizing utensils and condiments.
- Stocking Supplies: Assist in stocking service areas with necessary supplies, such as glassware, utensils and napkins, ensuring everything is readily available for the team.
- Communication: Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and effecitve communication during service.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred, but not required.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-pased environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Texas Food Handler and TABC certificates.
