What You’ll Do:
- Ensure Food Safety & Quality – Conduct daily equipment and temperature checks to maintain compliance with Federal and State health regulations.
- Prepare & Cook Meals – Review daily menus, prep ingredients, and prepare meals for residents, guests, and employees while following strict sanitation and quality standards.
- Manage Food Storage – Properly label, date, and store food items, discarding any outdated or unsafe products to maintain freshness and safety.
- Maintain Temperature Standards – Ensure all hot and cold foods consistently meet or exceed Fairfax County Health Department regulations.
- Support Special Events – Assist in catering services for special functions and contribute to the planning and execution of holiday menus.
