What are the responsibilities and job description for the Elementary Teacher (LOA) 1370 position at Vinson-Owen Elementary School?
Winchester Public Schools is seeking a Grade 5 Teacher from mid-April 2025-June 2025 with a solid background, knowledge , and experience teaching core subject areas such as Reading, Writing, Math, Science and Social Studies, as well as be comfortable using technology platforms.
The candidate should be flexible, hardworking, and willing to try new approaches to teaching and learning that are research-based and endorsed by the district.
We are looking for an educator who will be a strong communicator and able to form strong relationships with students, staff, and families.
The ideal candidate will also be familiar with the social emotional learning teachings and strategies, growth mindset, and performance-based assessments.
