About Our Internship Program

The Summer Internship Program is a unique and challenging 10-week experience for diverse, talented, high-performing individuals interested in different aspects of the financial and technology industry. Contingent upon business needs, performance and completion of degree, our internship serves as a pipeline to our full-time early-career program EDGE.

The Impact You Will Have In This Role

Being a member of the Enterprise Data Solutions organization, the intern will have the opportunity to contribute with DTCC’s enterprise data program. The intern will work with our Master & Reference Data (MRD) and Data Stewards teams on performing data and process analyses, applying modern data management techniques to ensure high-quality and fit-for-purpose data, and defining data requirements to enable DTCC data modernization and ensure achievement of key business objectives. The role provides the candidate exposure to DTCC Businesses & Functions and deeper understanding on the growing importance of data for the achievement of strategy business goals (e.g., modernization, digitization)

Your Primary Responsibilities

• Perform data and processes analyses and identify enhancement opportunities
• Document data-related business requirements in collaboration with Business and Functional stakeholders – requirements are critical input for data and application modernization efforts, as well as data quality monitoring
• Apply modern data management techniques (e.g., data profiling, data quality rules creation and monitoring) to ensure critical business data is high-quality and fit-for-purpose

Qualifications

• Candidates must be working towards a bachelor’s degree in the following curriculums: Business, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Data Analytics, MIS
• Candidates must have authorization to work permanently in the US without the need for sponsorship (now or in the future)
• Candidates must have minimum of a 3.2 GPA to be considered

• Must demonstrate superior analytical and communication skills
• Strong interest in the financial services industry, with previous internship experience a plus
• Strong interest for data management, data analytics, digitization
• Ability to work in teams
  
  

The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
