Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team in a hospital setting. Duties
- Serve meals to patients in a timely manner, ensuring proper presentation and portion control.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas by regularly sanitizing surfaces, utensils, and equipment.
- Follow all food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with the dietary department to meet the nutritional needs of patients and assist with special dietary requests.
- Support the team by helping to restock supplies and maintain inventory levels as necessary.
Experience
- Previous experience in a dietary aide or food service role is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with dietetics principles and food production processes is a plus.
- Strong understanding of sanitation practices and food handling regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
