We’re looking for a new team member to serve our patients as an ophthalmic technician - no experience required. We are looking for an awesome person, and will provide training as necessary!

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and gather accurate information prior to the doctor’s examination.
  • Perform preliminary eye health and function tests, including visual acuity, retinal photography, tonometry (eye pressure), and others.
  • Administer eye drops as instructed by the physician.
  • Assist with specialized diagnostic testing, such as OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography), visual field testing, and more.
  • Assist with minor in-office procedures.
  • Maintain and calibrate ophthalmic instruments and equipment as needed.
  • Educate patients on eye care, treatment plans, and post-procedure instructions.
  • Document findings and test results accurately in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
  • Ensure a clean and organized examination room.
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient follow-ups as needed.
  • Be willing to help your fellow team members as needed.
