We’re looking for a new team member to serve our patients as an ophthalmic technician - no experience required. We are looking for an awesome person, and will provide training as necessary!

Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients and gather accurate information prior to the doctor’s examination.
- Perform preliminary eye health and function tests, including visual acuity, retinal photography, tonometry (eye pressure), and others.
- Administer eye drops as instructed by the physician.
- Assist with specialized diagnostic testing, such as OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography), visual field testing, and more.
- Assist with minor in-office procedures.
- Maintain and calibrate ophthalmic instruments and equipment as needed.
- Educate patients on eye care, treatment plans, and post-procedure instructions.
- Document findings and test results accurately in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
- Ensure a clean and organized examination room.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient follow-ups as needed.
- Be willing to help your fellow team members as needed.
