Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong driving skills, the ability to handle heavy lifting, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Duties

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle, including box trucks, while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Execute route driving efficiently to ensure timely deliveries.
• Load and unload goods with attention to weight limits and safety protocols, including heavy lifting as required.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation as needed.
• Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Utilize manual transmission vehicles when necessary, demonstrating proficiency in driving techniques.
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including forklift operation and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred; experience with manual transmission is a plus.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Experience with route driving and knowledge of local roadways is beneficial.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
• Forklift certification is an advantage but not mandatory; training may be provided.
• A strong commitment to safety practices and procedures in all aspects of the job.

Pay: From $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

• Evening shift
• Morning shift

Work Days:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

• Day Shift (Preferred)
