What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pet Nanny position at Vintage Racers for Rescues?

We are a 501c3 dog and cat rescue organization looking for assistance with our personal pets, as well as any fosters we have.
o Approximately one week a month we need for you to live in our home caring for our personal pets (6 dogs, 6 cats). This means daytime and overnight care.
o In addition, you will be providing daytime and overnight care for our current fosters at the time of travel. This can include ages newborn to senior – prior experience required.
o Care will include feeding 2x a day, medication administration 2x a day, cleaning litter boxes multiple times a day, keeping areas tidy etc. (more feedings may be needed for kittens/puppies).
o Occasional transport to/from veterinary appointments.
o Occasional facilitation of meet and greets and/or adoptions.
PLEASE NOTE: We do not expect CONSTANT care; however, the expectation is the household routine is maintained, and sufficient care and attention is provided throughout the day. Our number one priority is the care and attention of our animals!
o Housesitting Base Rate: $150 per DAY (24 hours). $75 per HALF DAY (12 hours or less).
o Additional pay will be based on foster animals at the time of house sitting and will range based on the level of care.
o Mileage: 0.50 cents per mile.
o Transport for vet care will generally be to Roxboro or Danville.
o Additional Pay: Opportunity for additional hours during weeks we are not away. Needs include play time and socialization with foster dogs and cats, transport for vet visits, additional support with fundraisers, cleaning and organizing foster areas, etc… Paid at hourly rate to be discussed.
o High school diploma or equivalent
o Prior experience with animal care REQUIRED
o Dedication to provide exceptional pet care.
