Painter

 

Vintage Realty Company is seeking an experienced full-time painter to complete our Maintenance team at Village at Westlake in Shreveport, Louisiana.  

The painter position is responsible for assisting in the make-ready process.

 

Job Duties: 

·         Efficiently complete all painting projects to ensure timely move-in’s 

·         Painting the interiors of apartments include preparing walls, spackling, plastering and caulking 

·         Calculate amounts of required materials and estimate costs, based on surface measurements or work orders. 

·         Strong focus on customer / resident satisfaction 

·         Received work orders and instruction from the Maintenance Supervisor to adequately determine work requirements 

·         Must possess the knowledge and skills to organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines 

·         Customer service orientation and problem-solving skills essential 

 

Minimum Qualifications:
 

·         Minimum of 2 years of professional painting experience 

·         Must be able to read, speak and understand English for business purposes 

·         Must be able to read and write instructions, short correspondence, memos, service requests, and to converse with residents, co-   workers, and vendors in a professional manner. 

·         Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment background investigation including criminal record search, employment verification, and drug screen
