Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Vintage Car Restoration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service and repair, with desired experience working on German cars. This role involves disassembly and concours reassembly of restorations and classic cars. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and restoring vehicles to their optimal condition while providing exceptional customer service. The Restoration Technician will work closely with a team of professionals to ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform service work as needed.
- Utilize hand tools and schematics to conduct thorough inspections and maintenance of automotive systems.
- Collaborate with team members to restore vehicles to best possible condition, ensuring all repairs meet industry standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Keep accurate records of repairs performed and parts used for each vehicle.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive service and repair.
- Strong mechanical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Familiarity with old school conventional ignition and carburetors is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics related to automotive systems.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
