We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate methods.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure that all items are returned to their designated places after cleaning.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients for cooking.
- Support the kitchen staff during busy periods by bussing tables and helping with banquet setups.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen supervisor promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the kitchen.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety practices is a plus.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as necessary.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
