What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Coordinator position at Vintners?
Summary of Position:
The Marketing Coordinator provides support and execution assistance to the Director of Sales and Marketing across marketing communications disciplines including but not limited to social media marketing, content marketing, email marketing, search engine marketing, public relations, partnerships, community relations, and event promotions.
Through strong project management skills and a passion for excellence, the Marketing Coordinator’s successful execution of marketing campaigns and promotions will increase awareness and visibility of Vintners Resort, its food and beverage offerings, spa and other services to drive traffic through conversion and ultimately into revenue.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Social Media Marketing
Manage social media channels with input and support from Director of Sales and Marketing and collaboration with other departmental leads.
In collaboration with restaurant, spa, and appropriate departments to create social media content, calendar, copy, year-round offers, promotions, and activations.
Generate creative and engaging photos, videos, and digital assets.
Initiate conversations and building relationships with influencers, bloggers and media including coordinating hotel visits and stays as appropriate.
Track and report on engagements and relevant KPIs.
Website and Content Marketing
Update website, landing pages and all relevant third-party websites ensuring content is accurate and refresh in a timely manner
Develop engaging content for newsletter and other owned channels
Draft press releases, post to website and distribute to media contacts
Manage and coordinate photography shoots
Manage the Resort’s image library and visual assets.
Advertising and Search Engine Marketing
Liaise with agencies, consulting firms and vendors to maximize advertising investments
Provide media assets (e.g., images, logos etc.) and support for paid channels as required.
Campaigns and Promotions
Assist Director of Sales and Marketing in the management of partnership opportunities, community relations, event promotions to increase brand awareness and strengthen engagement across various market segments.
Execute integrated marketing campaigns to help drive positive impact for the Resort’s need periods.
Email Marketing
Manage first-party data captured from the website.
Support deployment of emails to targeted audiences.
All other duties as assigned by the Director of Sales and Marketing.

Education and/or Experience:
College or university education required
1 year of experience in Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing or Marketing Communications
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Communicate with guests/customers when necessary to resolve maintenance issues.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
None Required
Other Skills and Abilities:
Prior experience in hospitality industry or equivalent preferred.
Experience with social media platforms, consumer engagement and strong awareness of the digital world
Photography and video skills
Knowledge of InDesign and production methods in graphic arts and collateral
Influencer/media relations experience an advantage
Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
Attention to detail and organization
Ability to multi-task effectively, managing multiple projects while being cognizant of deadlines and priorities
