Vinx Pest Control is expanding our services and we are looking for motivated and results-driven Field Inspector / Outside Sales Representatives to join our team!
In this role, you’ll conduct in-field inspections, generate leads, and sell specialized services, including termite control, exclusion work, attic insulation, and crawl space encapsulations. This role is ideal for someone with strong sales skills, technical knowledge, and a passion for educating customers on the benefits of Vinx’s specialty pest solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to assess pest-related issues and identify service opportunities.
- Educate and sell specialty pest control services (termite treatments, exclusion work, attic insulation, crawl space encapsulations, etc.) to both existing and new customers. Generate new leads through networking, referrals, and direct sales efforts.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to maximize long-term business opportunities.
- Prepare and present detailed service proposals and bids using company-approved software.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, sales, and follow-ups in the company CRM system.
- Work closely with the scheduling team to optimize the efficiency of inspection appointments.
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing client concerns, answering questions, and providing post-sale support.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices, pest control regulations, and sales techniques.
- Represent Vinx Pest Control in a professional and ethical manner.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in pest control, home services, or consultative sales (e.g., roofing, HVAC, solar, foundation repair).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a dynamic schedule.
- Technical aptitude to understand and explain specialty pest solutions. High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- This position is subject to background check, MVR and drug screening Ability to walk, climb, crawl, kneel, and work in confined spaces (attics, crawl spaces) in varying temperatures and conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and spend extended periods driving to customer locations.
