Viola’s Ice Cream Social Store Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a Store Manager to join our team! We are looking for someone who can oversee the shop and help the brand grow through your creativity and ideas!

Responsibilities:

• Track and organize store inventory
• Supervise team of retail sales workers
• Adjust daily schedule for shift personnel to ensure optimal efficiency
• Train and evaluate employees
• Occasional purchases of product
• Assist owner to organize special events and catering
• Assist owner with marketing startegy
• Track monthly results and trends for business forecasting
• Assist owner with new creative ideas to implement
• Ensure cleanliness of the store and daily check list completion
• Resolve escalated customer complaints

Customer Service:

• Greet customers warmly and assist with ordering.
• Provide recommendations on coffee and ice cream menu items based on customer preferences.
• Ensure a friendly and positive experience for all guests and property team members

Beverage & Food Preparation as required:

• Prepare espresso-based drinks, brewed coffee, teas, and other specialty beverages following standard recipes.
• Prepare ice cream desserts and milk shakes following standard recipes
• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality of all drinks and food items.
• Proficiency in all drink prep and specialty drink recipes, including ice cream creations, shakes and frappes and food recipes.

Operations & Maintenance as required:

• Operate and maintain coffee-making equipment, grinders, and brewing systems.
• Operate mixer, waffle maker and milk shake equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, including countertops, seating areas, and workstations.
• Follow health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail, customer service, or other related fields
• Previous experience in social media content creating or graphic designing is a plus
• Previous experience in managing coffee or ice cream store is plus
• Previous experience in office administration or other related fields is a plus
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.23 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
