What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Art Director position at VIOLETTE_FR?
This role is based around the inception, production, post-production and execution of the marketing and advertising communications that live across multiple platforms and channels globally. We are seeking an innovative and motivated Junior Art Director to produce inspiring and engaging creative assets across website, PDP, paid media ads, email, print collateral, packaging and more. This position will also oversee creative quality and adherence to style guides by making selects on final images, creating post-production notes and reviewing imagery and video before delivery. You are curious by nature, fashion and art, entrepreneurial and exceptionally skilled in navigating new design ideas and concepts. You’ll report to the Executive Creative Director and work cross functionally across a talented group of marketing, social media, product and creative team members.
Responsibilities:
● Conceptualize and produce creative assets that translate the brand identity’s tone, vision, and voice while incorporating copy across online platforms
● Design and present innovative email marketing assets and templates with a keen eye for both branding and e-commerce
● Meeting with the creative and marketing teams to discuss packaging specifications, ensuring packaging designs accurately represent the company’s brand and ethos
● Selecting functional ideas and creating packaging mock-ups
● Design and present creative social media assets for both organic and paid customer acquisition campaigns
● Implement best practices across website standards and paid media assets (copy, layouts) for high performing marketing campaigns
● Work collaboratively with content team to generate concepts and ideas for upcoming campaigns ● Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies, while keeping up to date with industry trends and relevant digital platforms
● Work collaboratively with production, packaging, marketing, and creative while implementing efficient processes to streamline the teams
● Follow through with content post-production across dynamic deliverables
● Image post-production: Manage selects and retouching to a high standard and taste level ● Ensure that all projects are within deadlines and budget constraints
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
● Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field.
● Minimum 3-5 years of experience in graphic design
● Experience in B2C, digital required
● Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite; Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and XD, Figma
● Email design/functionality and HTML experience a plus
● Exceptional eye for color, design, layouts, and typography
● Meticulous in execution
● Thrives in start-up environments that foster creativity and innovation
