What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contracts Administrative Clerk position at VIP Foodservice?
Aloha from VIP Foodservice! We’re a local, family-owned company dedicated to serving our Maui County for business and family needs. Our foodservice division serves a diverse base of over 760 operators, including resorts, restaurants, grocery stores, healthcare, and schools. In addition, we have Island Grocery Depot, our retail division, with locations in Kahului & Lahaina, offering a variety of local and national branded products for Maui families and visitors.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Enter, maintain, invoice, and reconcile vendors for all customer contracts and State and Government bids
- Update all bid prices as required to maintain correct customer pricing such as inputting prices, calculating bid prices based on schedule, and tracking all rebates in all systems
- Facilitate and manage all State and Government bids
- Manage audit process for all customer contracts
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in accounting, purchasing, or contracts
- Associates degree in Accounting or Business Administration
- Two years' related work experience
Minimum Requirements:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, data entry, and 10-key by touch
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Motivated, well-organized, and a self-starter
- Attention to detail for accuracy
