About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel Manager to operate Ocean House, an eight-room bed and breakfast in Beach Cove. As the Hotel Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our hotel's smooth operation and high-quality service while also leading and motivating our team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
This position is not a live-in management role. The operations schedule will require a 4/10 schedule commitment each week. This role will report to the General Management team in Newport.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily hotel operations and guest services
- Manage and motivate staff to provide excellent customer service
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue and occupancy goals
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner
- Provide administrative and invoice support
- Social media to encourage revenue
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Hotel Manager or similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physically able to traverse stairs throughout the day, stand for multiple hours at a time, and lift and carry up to 30lbs
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities
- Knowledge of hotel management software and financial management
- Degree in Hospitality Management or relevant field
