As a Pet Groomer at VIP Pet Elite, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and appearance of our furry clients. Located in a vibrant environment, this position is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence in pet care and grooming. This position is great for dog lovers, recent grooming school graduates or someone who wants to put foot into the grooming career!
Imagine working side by side with an internationally recognized, multiple award-winning groomer, certifier, and grooming instructor. You'll be paid $20 per hour for this part-time position, which can easily turn into a full-time role. After a year of the outstanding work performance, continued education is a possibility. Prior grooming or dog bathing experience is welcomed but not required. We will train the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality dog bathing services for various breeds of dogs.
- Handle and care for pets with compassion and professionalism.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs and any concerns.
- Assist in positive dog training sessions as needed.
- Provide basic animal care before and after grooming sessions.
- Clean the salon
- Check in the dogs
Requirements
- Proven experience in pet grooming or a related field is preferred not required, we will train the right candidate.
- Punctuality and good time management skills
- Strong skills in dog handling and animal care.
- Knowledge of veterinary practices is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy animals safely as needed.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients effectively.
- Desire to learn and grow with the company
- Positive attitude and great work ethics
