Job Description
VIP Quality Services is dedicated to nothing less than realizing the full potential of people with intellectual disabilities. VIP Quality Services day program is designed to create a safe, fun, and accommodating environment for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our daily activities include, but are not limited to, art, music, media, sports, nature, cooking, and community outings.
VIP Quality Services is looking for staff with the heart to serve others, enjoy being active, and creative. We look for staff that engage with the individuals we serve, develop activities and learn skills that fit with the individual’s needs.
Fulltime and Part-time positions available Monday – Friday: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Duties include: engaging individuals in different activities, attending to their personal needs, taking individuals on community outings, providing behavioral supports to ensure a safe environment and build trustworthy relationships with each individual served.
Skills: Have the ability to work with intellectual/developmentally disabled individuals who have emotional and behavioral challenges. Excellent interpersonal, oral, record keeping, and written communication skills. Have the ability to apply crisis intervention training in order to respond to crises and conflicts with confidence and professionalism.

Desired Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 years of experience in providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities or related disorders.
- Ability to communicate, both verbally and written with all levels of personnel.
- Able to communicate and work effectively in a team environment.
- Capable to work responsibly with highly confidential information.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must pass all VIPQS mandatory background checks.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, push, pull, reach, sit and walk for periods of time.
- Must be able to utilize proper body mechanics if and when physical assistance with individuals is needed.
- Must be able to stand for eight (8) hours at a time.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. independently, at a time and assist with a two person lift of an adult.
