Immediately hiring a Production Assembler 1 for a large manufacturing company in New Braunfels, TX. The Assembler will be responsible for assembling mechanical and electro-mechanical boards, parts, hardware and other security products.
Pay is $15.43 / hr.
Shift is Mon-Thurs 6am-4 : 30pm (weekends & overtime as required)
Duties :
- Read and interpret bill of materials (BOM) and accurately pick materials
- Operate / use machines, hand tools, small power tools, voltage meters and testing equipment to assemble and test products
- Review work orders and ensure appropriate level of materials, tools, equipment and resources are available for production functions
- Read process sheets and assemble boards and units for standard and custom orders
- Strip and wrap wires, solders parts and wires to units
- Insert small component parts and / or wiring into printed circuit boards
- Package product and prepare for shipping
- Attaches identifying labels to finished product, boxes and part containers
- Assist in moving materials, parts and products as needed
- Complete in-process-inspection to ensure product meets work instruction specifications
- Report variances immediately to lead / supervisor
- Collaborate with Quality Auditor to ensure all production output meets work instruction specifications
- Supports cross-training of production staff and new hires
