Manufacturing Assembler
Shift Details :
Monday-Friday, 5 : 00 AM to 2 : 00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch)
Pay Rate :
19–$21 per hour
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Manufacturing Assembler to join our production team. The role involves assembling mechanical parts, products, or subassemblies using various tools and equipment on a production line. This position plays a critical role in ensuring our products meet quality standards and production schedules.
Key Responsibilities :
Assemble products and equipment following blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, and written procedures.
Use hand and power tools, including screwdrivers, wrenches, wire cutters, and drills.
Perform soldering in subassembly operations.
Maintain accurate inventory levels in workstations.
Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet established standards.
Document and report product defects, rework, or repair tasks based on engineering changes.
Maintain a clean, safe work area and adhere to safety protocols.
Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production goals.
Required Experience :
High School Diploma or GED.
1–2 years of mechanical assembly experience.
Basic reading and comprehension skills to follow directions accurately.
Required Skills :
Ability to navigate and utilize basic computer systems.
Proficiency with small hand and power tools.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Nice-to-Have Skills :
Forklift operation experience.
Previous experience in a lean production environment.
Familiarity with soldering techniques.
Physical Requirements :
Must be able to see, speak, walk, hear, stand, sit, and use hands / fingers to handle tools.
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs., climb stairs / ladders, and stoop or bend as required.
Work Environment :
Warehouse setting near moving mechanical parts.
Seasonal temperature fluctuations : hot in summer (fans provided) and cold in winter (heaters provided).
