Industrial Maintenance Technician – Steel Manufacturing

Job Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our steel manufacturing team. This role involves performing preventative and general maintenance on key manufacturing equipment, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, and ensuring the facility operates at peak efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct preventative maintenance on critical equipment, including press brakes, plasma machines, saws, and overhead / jib cranes.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in the manufacturing process.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, and technical manuals to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
- Use a variety of testing devices to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Maintain compliance with the facility’s lock-out / tag-out safety protocols.
- Manage multiple maintenance projects simultaneously, ensuring prioritized execution.
- Adhere to and enforce all plant safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
