- Conduct real-time inspections of finished goods and intermediates to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
- Use calibrated measuring tools (e.g., hand tools, gauges, weights, scales) to perform quality checks.
- Execute various quality transactions in SAP, including batch release, blocking/unblocking, and releasing finished materials.
- Issue non-conformance reports for materials that fall outside specifications, incorrect documentation, or process deviations.
- Collect and sample incoming bulk materials according to ANSI standards, utilizing Thermatron testers.
- Prepare Certificates of Analysis and Compliance for the release of finished goods prior to shipment.
- Manage materials in blocked/quality inspection status within SAP.
- Maintain inventory tracking logs and process recalls of finished goods from the ABQ warehouse.
- Maintain a variety of reports, including daily reports, batch files, validation testing, capacity records, and the NCR database.
- Assist with the repackaging and labeling of finished goods.
- Maintain the non-conforming materials area.
- Develop inspection plans and instructions.
- Support investigations and help resolve customer complaints.
- Ensure all measuring tools are properly maintained and calibrated.
- Oversee document control by creating and updating GMS documents, including SOPs and work instructions.
- Provide quality training to production operators.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
- Capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong math and computer skills.
- SAP experience is highly preferred.
