Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to set up, program, and operate CNC brake press machines for precision metal fabrication. The ideal candidate will have experience interpreting blueprints, adjusting machine settings, and ensuring high-quality output. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality control.
Key Responsibilities :
- Set up and operate CNC brake press machines to bend, form, and shape metal components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and job specifications to determine bending sequences and tolerances.
- Program brake press machines by entering commands and adjusting settings for material type, thickness, and bend angles.
- Load raw materials onto the machine, ensuring proper alignment and clamping.
- Conduct test runs and inspect first-run parts to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Make adjustments to machine settings, tooling, and back gauges to optimize quality and efficiency.
- Measure and inspect finished products using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following OSHA safety guidelines and company procedures.
