Job Summary :

We are seeking a dedicated Welder Helper to support our welding team in the fabrication and maintenance of metal structures and equipment. The ideal candidate will assist welders by preparing materials, maintaining tools and equipment, and ensuring a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist welders in setting up rigs and moving them between work areas.
• Ensure welders have the required materials and tools available, such as rods and grinding discs.
• Operate various tools and equipment, including welding machines, grinders, hammers, beveling machines, torches, and magnetic drills.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas to ensure a safe and organized environment.
• Load and unload materials and equipment as needed.
• Follow welders' instructions to adjust welding machine temperatures.
• Employ buffers and grinders to clean welds.
• Maintain knowledge of various metals, such as galvanized, carbon, and stainless steel.
• Identify safety risks and hazards, and comply with relevant safety procedures and regulations.
