What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yard Forklift Worker position at VIP Staffing?
We are now hiring for Yard Workers for a facility in Austin, TX. These positions are starting ASAP! Please submit your resume to this posting and call our office at 830-629-2525.
Pay : $18 / hr
Schedule : Monday-Friday 7 : 15am-5 : 00pm (will rotate working every other Saturday 9 : 00am-2 : 00pm)
MUST have sit down forklift experience.
Yard Workers :
- Collect invoice from customer, identify steel on invoice, pull steel either by hand or by using a forklift, cut material to correct size, load material in customer vehicle.
- Unload vendor trucks that deliver steel to us which includes identifying steel on bill of materials, verify sizes and quantities, unload truck using forklift, paint steel to match material identification, rack steel in appropriate spot.
- When not loading or unloading customers / vendors they are responsible for all yard organization and clean up.
- Must be OK with working in the outside environment.
- Must be able to work in outside environment.
Dress code : t-shirts, long pants, and boots any kind.
Salary : $18
