What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dietician position at VIP Supreme Staffing LLC?
3 days a week - flexible days between Mon-Friday - Will travel to various Juvenile Correctional facilities within the state using a state vehicle
Must have Valid Ohio DL
Other duties:
- Responsible for reimbursable meals program through the Ohio Department of Education.
- Responsible for ServSafe certified training for all food service workers.
- Performs regular audits (e.g., snack, breakfast, lunch, IMA, menu).
- Advocate for food service managers with Ohio Buys and supplier issues/deliveries.
- Creates standardized menu and provides quarterly surveys to youth at all facilities.
- Liaison with medical staff/nursing regarding specific dietary needs and/or restrictions due to allergies, etc.
- Responds to dietary consults with youth in person at all facilities.
- Travel is required for this position and must remain eligible to operate a state vehicle.
A retired Dietician from the school district would be an ideal candidate
Position Requirements:
- Current licensure as dietitian as issued by Ohio Board of Dietetics per Section 4759.06 of Revised Code;
- At least 9 mos. trg. or 9 mos. exp. in state & federal guidelines & accreditation standards regarding dietetics/nutrition for agency of employment;
- At least 9 mos. trg. or 9 mos. exp. in public relations.
- And at least 9 mos. trg. or 9 mos. exp. in employee training & development.
