VIP is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Route to Market Project Manager to join our BizStride Logistics Team. VIP is a software company that partners very closely with customers to support their business and seeks to train to develop stronger users of the VIP product suite. This role is crucial in helping our clients optimize their delivery and sales route to market operations and achieve maximum efficiency through the effective implementation and utilization of BizStride Logistics and other VIP products.
As a Route to Market Project Manager, you will lead client projects, provide system guidance on route-to-market goals, assist with data analysis, and software training. You will be responsible for managing project timelines, facilitating communication, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the implementation and optimization process.
Primary Responsibilities
BizStride Logistics Route Planning Tool Implementation and Support
- Implement and configure BizStride Logistics software to meet client-specific needs.
- Provide training and support to clients on the effective use of the BizStride Route Planning Tool.
- Troubleshoot and resolve client issues related to route planning and delivery operations.
- Maintain project timelines, monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure on-time delivery.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
Data Management and Analysis
- Utilize Excel, Qlik and iDIG to review large datasets and provide guidance on validating to ensure best practices when reviewing route to market plans.
- Assist distributors with Excel formatting to upload data into the Route Planning Tool.
Product Knowledge and Collaboration
- Maintain a deep understanding of BizStride Logistics, Beverage on the Web, iDIG, KARMA, and other relevant VIP products.
- Collaborate with VIP's development and support teams to provide feedback and contribute to product enhancements.
- Assist with testing enhancements and developments to the Route Planning tool. This includes working with clients to discuss business cases for enhancements and communication with the development teams to outline acceptance criteria to meet distributor needs as well as some testing.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years within the beverage distribution industry.
- Proven experience in managing client relationships and delivering successful projects.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Preferences
- Experience with VIP software products Beverage on the Web, iDIG, VIP Mobile applications and/or KARMA.
- An understanding of route-to-market strategies and evaluation of routing performance - in a sales or operations perspective.
- Experience with Territory Planning and/or daily routing software
