Job Description
REQUIREMENTS/JOB DUTIES
- Oversee all aspects of accounting operation, including accounts receivables, inventory, accounts payables and human resources and supervision of staff
- Good understanding of the manufacturing process
- Work closely with other departments as part of management team member
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Oversee regulatory reporting.
- Cash management (inflows, outflows, reporting)
- Analyze product costing
- Ensure financial closing processes is completed timely and accurate per management closing schedule
- Fixed asset management (including review of current assets and new asset purchases)
- Accounting systems management
- Direct Human Resource compliance
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing accounting staff (CPA preferred)
- Experience with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong general ledger accounting skills with thorough understanding of GAAP
- Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail and organizational skills
- Desire for growth into a management role
- 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with costing experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
