Job Description
Requirements:
- You must be 18 years old.
- You must be eligible to work in the U.S
- You must be able to pass a drug test.
- You must be able to pass a motor vehicle history check.
- For safety reasons, you must be able to speak English.
- You must have your own tool kit.
- A pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check are required.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs.
Job Duties:
HVAC installation and retrofitting is at the heart of what your job will entail. For the most part, you’ll be:
- Installing and troubleshooting for rooftop units, Humidifiers, packaged Air Conditioners, Refrigerated Air Dryers, and control systems.
- Working with Chillers, Cooling Towers, Hot Water/Steam Boilers, Condensers/Chilled Water Pumps and Exhaust Fans regularly.
- Variable Frequency Drives, Computer Room AC Equipment, Air Handling/Fan Coil Units and Air Compressors will also be a big part of your workload.
- Installing commercial units
- Responsible for teaching apprentices
- Additional duties as required
Skills:
- HVAC certification
- Demonstrate hands-on experience with commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, chillers, boilers, and air handling systems.
- Have worked with the specific equipment listed (VFDs, cooling towers, exhaust fans, etc.).
- Experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex HVAC systems.
- Experience in commercial or industrial settings, as residential HVAC roles
