Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Support professional to join our team in Houston, TX. This role focuses on maintaining and enhancing the performance, availability, and reliability of our storage infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide SRE-level support for Storage Grid infrastructure.
Monitor and manage storage fabric environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
Troubleshoot issues related to storage systems, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact.
Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to implement best practices in reliability and scalability.
Develop scripts and tools to automate operational tasks and improve efficiency.
Document incidents, procedures, and resolutions in a clear and concise manner.
Participate in on-call rotation and respond to critical incidents when needed.
Required Skills:
Strong experience supporting Storage Grid environments (NetApp or similar experience preferred).
Deep understanding of storage fabrics and related protocols (Fibre Channel, iSCSI, etc.).
Experience with infrastructure monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios).
Proficient in scripting (Python, Shell, or similar).
Solid troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
Familiarity with SRE principles such as SLAs, SLOs, and error budgets.
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of container storage interfaces (CSI).
Experience working in a cloud-hybrid storage model.
Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
