Schedule: Night Shifts. Candidates are expected to work every other weekend and holiday.
Duration: 13 Weeks
Requirements:
- Candidates must be able to independently take their own assignments.
- This is not a long-term care (LTC) unit.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of acute care hospital experience is required.
- Certification: AHA BLS certification is required.
- LPN License
- Floating: Candidates may be required to float to the ICU or ER, but only to care for medical-surgical-level patients or serve as helping hands.
Job Description:
We are looking for a compassionate LPN with an ability to remain calm under pressure. The LPN will be responsible for monitoring patients, performing routine checks, and assisting doctors and nurses.
- Monitor patients throughout their treatment.
- Perform routine checks of patients' vital signs.
- Ensure that patients take their medication.
- Assist doctors and registered nurses.
- Liaise with patients' families.
