Requirements:
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience within the specialty.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Must be willing to work a 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM shift.
- Weekend rotation is a MUST.
Summary:
We are seeking a qualified LPN or RN for a night shift contract in a 32-bed non-skilled facility. The current census averages 23-25 patients. The Night Nurse will work closely with the Night CNA on cares and rounds.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to residents during the night shift.
- Collaborate with the Night CNA to ensure comprehensive care.
- Monitor and assess residents' conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident interactions and care plans.
- Ensure resident safety and follow infection control protocols.
Contract Details:
- 36/48 hour contract
- Facility can call off up to 3 shifts for a 13-week contract and 2 shifts for contracts less than 13 weeks.
