Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg to provide direct patient care, ensuring high-quality treatment in accordance with professional standards. The ideal candidate will collaborate with healthcare teams, support patient well-being, and contribute to care planning and execution.
Requirements:
- Education: Minimum Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred)
- License: Active RN license in KY or compact state (New graduates may work under a KY provisional license for up to 6 months, with RN licensure required within that period)
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) (to be obtained within 45 days of hire)
- Experience: Strong long-term aspirations in nursing
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications, collect specimens, and provide clinical treatments
- Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions effectively
- Assist patients with daily activities, including hygiene, mobility, and nutrition
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Educate patients and families based on individual needs
