What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance - Days position at Viracon LLC?
Shift: WTF Days
LG: Tech 12 or 13 DOE
This posting is for either Maintenance B or A depending on experience.
Maintenance B: Tech 12 - $28.35
Under minimal supervision, perform PM’s, troubleshoot, repair and rebuild equipment with minimal supervision. High school diploma or equivalent GED required.
- Inventory and control stock of supplies.
- Perform PM’s as required; lubricants, dismantling, cleaning of parts.
- General fabrication skills; welding (ARC, MIG & TIG), torch, cutting equipment, able to follow simple blueprints, and grinders.
- Apply general mechanical knowledge/abilities.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Apply general mechanical knowledge/abilities in basic electrical blueprints and meters.
- Apply general plumbing skills.
- Assist in machine installation/assemble.
Maintenance A: Tech 13 - $30.40
Without direct supervision, perform PM’s troubleshoot, repair and rebuild equipment. Vocation Technical training in related field plus 8 years’ experience in related field, or 10 years plus of experience in related field.
- Inventory and control stock of supplies.
- Perform PM’s as required; lubricants, dismantling, cleaning of parts.
- General fabrication skills; welding (ARC, MIG & TIG), torch, cutting equipment, able to follow simple blueprints, and grinders.
- Apply general mechanical knowledge/abilities.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Apply general mechanical knowledge/abilities in basic electrical blueprints and meters.
- Apply general plumbing skills.
- Assist in machine installation/assemble.
- Disassemble and diagnoses mechanical and electrical failures and perform necessary repairs.
- Design layout and install plumbing projects.
- Machine installation.
- Troubleshoot without direct supervision
