What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Medical APP (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) position at Viral Solutions LLC?
Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Lead APP is expected to work 2 clinical shifts a week and that these shifts would be at all three of our current locations
- Monthly stipend for administrative duties which include but are not limited to the following:
- Interviewing and onboarding new hires
- Completing competencies and annual evaluations
- Assisting in development and implementation of educational presentations for APPs
- Leading monthly APP meetings and participating in other meetings as needed
- Counseling and disciplinary actions if needed for APPs
- Creating and overseeing the APP schedule for the different locations
- Working closely with the medical directors, other site leadership, as well as the owners to ensure operational and clinical excellence
- Overseeing APP student rotations
