What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paramedic - Nights Shift - Cherokee County Adult Detention Center position at Viral Solutions LLC?
Duties and Responsibilities:
- This role is located within a Correctional Facility
- Providing emergency and routine treatment and evaluations as directed by Nursing and Medical Staff
- Adhering to all Facility policies and procedures and Board of Nursing rules and regulation
- Participating in data collection, medication audits, and other performance improvement activities related to medication administration
- Providing other direct patient care activities within the scope of the Paramedic certification
- Reporting any adverse patient events reactions immediately to a supervisor
- Performing intake evaluations on patients as directed
- Ensuring the confidentiality and rights of patients, the confidentiality of the health systems and department documents, and adhering to HIPAA Regulations
- Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance
- Post orders, if applicable, per site contract
- Perform other duties as assigned
