POSITION SUMMARY:
The Events & HCP Program Manager will lead the planning, execution, and management of trade, health and consumer events, while also overseeing our Health Care Practitioner (HCP) sampling program. This role includes managing a part-time employee responsible for clinic outreach, ensuring seamless operations and effective program execution. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
Trade, Healthcare, Consumer Events Management:
- Plan, organize, & execute trade shows, health care conferences, consumer-facing events, & other industry-related gatherings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency in event execution.
- Attend events & work at the booth as a member of the brand team with strong product & program knowledge.
- Manage event budgets, logistics, and post-event reporting to measure ROI.
HCP Sampling Program Oversight:
- Manage the sampling program to effectively target & engage health care practitioners in the US & Canadian markets.
- Work with Demand Planning and Supply Chain to forecast inventory needs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clinics and practitioners through email campaigns to support brand awareness, announce new product launches, and encourage product adoption.
- Monitor the program's performance and recommend optimizations for greater impact.
Team Management:
- Provide guidance and oversight to a part-time employee responsible for clinic outreach.
- Ensure clear communication of goals and deliverables and support their professional growth.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-5 years of experience in event management, trade marketing, or similar roles.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Proven experience managing budgets and delivering ROI-focused results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with internal teams, external vendors, retail buyers, consumers, and health care practitioners.
- Leadership experience, preferably in managing part-time or remote employees.
- Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, & event management software.
- Travel expected up to 40-50%.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in health care, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or wellness industries.
- Familiarity with HCP engagement strategies and best practices.
