POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our health and wellness team. This role focuses on project management and will partner with the Sales team and cross-functional team to deliver projects on time to our customers. This person will have a passion for execution and speed to market.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Leadership
- Lead cross functional Sales project teams in a matrix environment to guide project teams through activities to meet business objectives including approval of project through Governance meetings
- Influence others beyond their own scope and level (director and VP); lead communications with all levels of stakeholders to enable informed decision making
- Drive team accountability for deliverables and ensure projects meet milestones
- Demonstrate business acumen, project management, communication, process management and team performance management; ask the right questions to understand business impact and risks
Facilitation & Risk Management
- Excel at leadership, facilitation and collaboration
- Engage teams to deliver solutions
- Scope definitions and control- stakeholder alignment, project planning, resource and risk management, team development and communication
- Proactively identify and escalate risks and issues to relevant stakeholders, lead development and delivery of tactical and achievable mitigation plans
Project Execution
- Develop a project plan, and then drive delivery of the project plan to achieve business results
- Develop, manage and maintain up-to-date Project Timelines inclusive of all critical milestones, key interdependencies, financial commitments and resource constraints
- Monitor project status and execution; report timely updates via Asana; and develop agendas and send out minutes to the teams
- Deliver transparent, timely and effective verbal and written communication to teams, stakeholders and appropriate levels of the organization
- Lead "lessons learned" exercises, share lessons among project leaders and other teams, integrate lessons into existing processes, tools and templates
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Advanced Degree (Master’s, MBA, etc.) in a business or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant business experience
- Minimum of three (3) years in the VMS, OTC, consumer products preferred
- Proven record of Project Management, leading multi-functional and cross-functional teams
- Supply Chain and/or Commercialization experience is preferred
- Prior experience working on new products and/or execution of new products is preferred
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership & influencing skills across organizational levels
- Demonstrated familiarity with standard PM tools and templates (Asana, Microsoft Project or similar)
- Business and Financial acumen is required

- Must be able to sit/stand for 8 hours
- Walking, bending, light lifting to 50 lbs
