Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lube and Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automobiles, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. As a Lube and Tire Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our customers' vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine oil changes and lubrication services following established procedures.
- Inspect vehicles for additional maintenance or repair needs and communicate findings to the service advisor.
- Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires as needed, ensuring proper alignment and tire pressure.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as filter replacements, fluid top-ups, and brake inspections.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper disposal of used materials and fluids.
- Assist with maintaining and organizing inventory of automotive parts and supplies.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations while working on vehicles.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and explaining service recommendations.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and automotive technology advancements through training and professional development.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Lube and Tire Technician is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and components.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
