Engineer I, Materials Test

What You Bring

• A Bachelor’s degree from an ABET, or equivalent, accredited institution with a concentration in a relevant Engineering or Sciences discipline
• Experience in the mechanical and physical evaluation of aerospace materials, including metals, composites, and plastics
• Familiarity with composite materials and processes used in the manufacture of composite aircraft structure
• Experience authoring test plans and test reports
• Knowledge of mechanical testing and physical characterization methods
• Familiarity with methods of statistical analysis for large datasets
• Hands-on experience with test equipment and instrumentation in a lab environment
• Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to different audiences.

The annual U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $72,500.00–$105,200.00. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, and experience and take into account internal equity. Other forms of pay (e.g., bonus or long term incentive) may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
