Responsibilities
Responsible for integrity of Electrical Wire Diagrams, Harness Layouts, Wire Harness Assemblies, Electrical Library, and Electrical Database
Develop and maintain electrical 3DX workbench processes
Develop and maintain drafting standards, perform engineering checks and reviews
Wire size selection for current carrying capacity and voltage drop
Component selection : connectors, terminal blocks, junction modules
Develop process specifications and engineering standards
Develop trade studies and design reviews to present to program leadership
Required Skills and Experience
B.S. Aerospace / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 12 years of experience
Expert in electrical database / library management
Expert in electrical schematics
Expert in circuit protection devices
Thorough understanding of aircraft-type wiring and components such as connectors, backshells, conduits, relays, switches, terminal junctions, etc.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Experience with Catia V5 and Catia 3DX
Understanding of wire harness manufacturing process
Design experience and shop floor experience
Project management experience
Experience with Microsoft Visio
Experience with flight test instrumentation sensors

The annual U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $136,063.00–$207,596.00. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, and experience and take into account internal equity. Other forms of pay (e.g., bonus or long term incentive) may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
