JOB DESCRIPTION:
Packaging marijuana into pre-rolled joints is a very detail-oriented and repetitive job. It requires passion for the industry, a positive attitude, and the ability to follow direction very closely.
-Using machinery to process plant material trim into B-buds.
-Labeling and packaging finished material
-Weighing and reporting inventory
-Converting plant material into prerolls
-Order fulfillment and packaging
You must be able to handle critique, have strong hand-eye coordination, and be able to improve your quality and speed. Attendance and flexibility are also extremely important within this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Packaging pre-rolled joints of different strains of cannabis efficiently and in a timely manor with repetitive hand motions. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and you must be willing to sit or stand for long periods of time. Aside from working with flower, you will be required to work with machinery, roll joints and have a high level of attention to detail.
- Ensure plant material are processed in a quick and efficient manner, while ensuring high quality product standards
- Manage the project schedule
- Process smalls and preparation of product for retail and wholesale markets
- Assist with preparation and packaging
- Oversee accurate filling, packaging, and labeling of products within the production facility
- Maintain that all production areas and equipment are clean and sanitized at all times according to standard operating procedures
- Follow appropriate control measures to prevent mixing of batches and/or weights of batches
- Assure daily compliance with company policies
- Ability to accurately weight material and report data.
- Good with numbers and organization.
This position is reliant on the availability of smalls to process. Our trim team is creating more everyday, however, there will be floating work helping with the general manager to create orders, etc. We hope to find the right candidate that is flexible and helpful!
