In other words, this someone needs to know how to Make Ship Happen. Your excellent attention to detail and self-starter mentality means you can think quick on your feet and keep calm when ship gets real. Ultimately, we won't be able to remember how we got by without you. What You'll Be Up To: Maintain & repair electrical equipment throughout the ship.. Think galleys, pantries, bars, elevators, public areas, corridors, laundry equipment, interior & exterior lighting, audio equipment & lighting and safety & security equipment.
Responsible for inventory, cleanliness and functionality of assigned tools
Perform planned maintenance & document it accordingly
Superpowers Required: Electro-Technical Officer Certificate of Competency (COC) Degree or HND in Electronic Communications or Electrical Engineering or equivalent Certified and knowledge of Marine High Voltage Knowledge of MS Office or Computerized Maintenance System Minimum 1 year experience as a Junior Electrical Officer onboard a Cruise Ship All certificates as required by the STCW code for this position Strong verbal & written skills What Matters to Us: At Virgin, your personality matters as much as how good you are at what you do.
