VAD is currently seeking a Warehouse Driver at our Richmond, VA branch.

Responsibilities

• Load delivery trucks to meet delivery schedule, ensuring product is secure and protected from damage
• Deliver orders in safe and undamaged manner in the company 26' box truck
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor
• Follow all DOT (Department of Transportation) standards and regulations
• Follow and implement all company safety polices and procedures
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, verifying, staging ,and stocking incoming material
• Perform monthly cycle counts
• Process warehouse transfers, both outgoing and incoming
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid drivers license with clean driving record-CDL not required
• Must be able to pass DOT physical examination
• Excellent attitude and commitment to superior customer service
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to multitask with ease and to meet deadlines with great accuracy
