VAD is currently seeking a Warehouse Associate at our Richmond, VA Branch.

Responsibilities :

Provide fast and friendly customer service to both internal and external customers

Handle incoming and outgoing inventory, including unloading trucks, receiving materials, performing quality inspections, and putting away stock.

Pick, stage, and load customer orders with attention to accuracy and damage prevention.

Service customers at the Will Call counter, ensuring prompt and accurate order fulfillment.

Process warehouse transfers, UPS shipments, and incoming deliveries.

Perform monthly cycle counts, maintain accurate bin locations, and support overall inventory organization.

Complete required paperwork accurately, including freight bills, hazmat forms, and other documentation.

Support local deliveries as needed and assist with customer pickups.

Achieve established productivity goals while maintaining attention to detail and efficiency.

Comply with all OSHA and company safety policies and procedures.

Maintain high housekeeping standards to ensure a clean, neat, and organized warehouse.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

Excellent attitude and commitment to superior customer service.

Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience, including RF scanners.

Forklift experience with certification preferred.

Familiarity with HVAC products, parts, and supplies, or experience in the building industry.

Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines accurately.

Excellent verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
